If Im watching something or happen to run across someone using ASL in public I get a big dopamine boost cause I understand what people are saying without needing it translated. If I'm watching something or happen to run across someone in public speaking Japanese I get a little dopamine boost if I can recognize any words at all.

I only just started but it has already opened me up to a lot more forms of entertainment

It catches people off guard that I speak Japanese because I'm not Asian and its really funny

I’ve met people from all over the world thanks to knowing 3 languages.
