No because that'd go horribly. Accessibility to rehabilitation services should be the focus instead.

No. Self temperance and responsibility should be taught by parents. Understanding and respect. Like when your dad lets you hold his rifle for the first time. You respect yourself, you respect it. Everybody deserves ways to cut loose and relax. When you lose that respect, that’s when it becomes a vice.

No, it wouldn't be of any use. If people want to use alcohol or tobacco, they will, whether the substances are banned or not. I don't smoke or drink, but it's against my classical liberal values to prevent others from doing so, provided that problems aren't caused directly for others.

I don't think banning things really works. But there should be rules—like no drinking in public, not even in bars. Because once you're drunk, you're just a drunk guy out in public, and you might harass people. Same goes for smoking. If you want to mess up your body, go ahead—but do it at home.

should be limited and not banned otherwise there would be illegal exchanges everywhere

if it becomes banned it can't be limited. addictive stuff should be limited not banned. 👍

It's promotion should be banned... Addicts will find a way to consume no matter what, but other people could be prevented from having the addiction

I suppose you could make a point against drugs consumed by smoking them getting banned since you're not only harming yourself but others around you too, aside from that I don't think banning alcohol & tobacco will lead to much, - or any drug for that matter - since the people who truly want/need their dose will still be able to get them one way or another, Imo better to get them that dose in a safe and regulated way with products that held to a certain standard, than to let them run loose and end up with money going into shady hands

tbh i dont like both of it, but for some reason, i'm fine with someone who drinks alcohol than the one who smoke

Ultimately yes but they really should make it harder to get by taxing and other ways

I'd like smoking in restaurants, cafes and anything like that to be banned in as many countries as possible. In particular, second-hand smoke does a lot of harm and no good for the health. I'm a non-smoker and hate it. I can't enjoy eating when someone is smoking around me.

Also this won't work because people will just do it illegally Unless there's severe control and death penalty but that's just a Waste of police.

I don’t think alcohol should be banned since it’s not as addictive but I do think tobacco should be banned because it’s basically a drug and if I remember correctly it’s one of the leading causes of death in America through things like lung cancer.

Consumption of Alcohol should be banned, rather than Alcohol itself
