i didn't even learn english on purpose i just watched a ton of shows and played lots of games and realized i could just do it by the age of 12 but my motivation for learning japanese is moving there (mainly moving out of my country it doesn't have to be japan tbh)

Watching anime, it’s a lot more fun for me to watch it and use deductive reasoning to figure out a words meaning than to use an app or something.

idk... but for me tho, these days watching one piece has weirdly motivated me to keep trying everyday... even if its just 1 word a day... this show is kinda motivating for something like language learning if u have a dream....

Use it regularly. If you don't, learning any language will be hard
