漢字の蟻地獄さ。ひらがなやカタカナを覚える前に必死に漢字を覚える人いるけど、絶対終わらないからひらがなだけでも確実に覚えてもらってふりがなで対処してる😂

To find a reason to learn it, other than getting engaged with a local girl. 😆 Of the few people I know no one's surprisingly complained about the conjugation system (6 cases, 3 genders, adjective agreement to boot). Most complain about the perfective/imperfective aspect, which I find somewhat odd given that English also has this (though the system works a bit differently). For locals it's the etymological spelling. Jan Hus (of Hussite Wars fame) was a stuck-up old man who campaigned against sound changes in the language happening during his lifetime. And out of his effort to teach people how to pronounce i and y correctly came the biggest filter that terrorises students in Czech Republic and Slovakia to this day.
