Never had ramen. And, even though I would like to try it, probably never will. Sodium restrictive diets are no fun, but kidney stones are worse...

Ive only had ramen once and that was a (I believe) vegetarian one in Edinburgh, so..... cant really answer that :D

I've only had maruchan/nissin chicken flavor...

soy sauce based clear soup, and raw onion on top. I miss the taste of the ramen shops I used to eat as a child.

I'm not a big fan of ramen, I could go without it, but if I had to say, I might prefer the Chinese kind than Japanese kind. (But **cooked** in Japan would suit my taste) in Japanse kind, for instant ramen, I like うまかっちゃん Umakacchan which is tonkotsu flavor, and for cup ramen, I like seafood or chili tomato. I like miso when I eat it at restaurants, and i like soy sauce when I make it myself. I can't decide which one I like my favorite the most, it all depends on the conditions. but I like 担々麺 tantanmen from Szechuan the most in Chinese ranem. I like 酸辣湯麺 hot and sour ramen next.
